Cut & Run
Summary of Book 1
Stranded in London when the EMP strikes, Katie is in a race against time to flee the sprawling city before it descends into chaos.
She’s at the airport, heading home after attending her father’s funeral when the power cuts out, plunging her into a dark and dangerous world where only the strong survive. With planes plummeting from the sky, she takes an orphaned girl under her wing and together they race to her grandfather’s house while the doomed city burns to the ground.
With rioters, looters, and roving killer gangs in her way, Katie is losing faith, and with the city in lock down, escape is easier said than done. And when she’s kidnapped by a pair of opportunistic brothers and sold into slavery, she must make a choice: control or be controlled.
Summary of Book 2
Safe and sound at her grandfather’s house, Katie now stands accused of a crime she didn’t commit.
The government has secret supply stashes across the country. They’re meant to share it among the population, except they can’t… someone stole it. And when all evidence points to Katie, they’re quick to attack, destroying her home and sending the survivors on the run once more.
Hunted by the military hot on their heels and fighting desperate survivors every step of the way, Katie leads her friends to the lodge her father built up north. But to get there she must make a heart-breaking decision and trust a man whose honor is available to the highest bidder.
Confronted with enemies on every side, Katie must wear the mantel of leadership or doom them all.
