My Review:
These days I’m really eager to read anything humorous and this is a really funny book of illustrations. I think what makes it so funny is how relatable the drawings are and the ones that aren’t are just downright silly. The author has called out all of the everyday assholes you know, work with, live with and see around town. The comics are at times irreverent, shocking, or spit-your-tea-out hilarious. I love that this book isn’t taking life too seriously and that helped me to put the awful stream of 2020 headlines aside and relax. I could see fans of South Park loving this. If you usually like irreverent comedies and satires I would recommend this book. It’s also no surprise to see they face the same social issues in Australia as we do in the US.
